Music at QMUL is very proud of its association with the London Chamber Orchestra, which is having such a positive effect on university musical activities. Tonight, its principal string players bring to life music associated with both William Shakespeare and our own People’s Palace. They are joined by QMUL colleagues
and students from Global Shakespeare who bring to life some of the particular scenes associated with the music. The programme includes: Mendelssohn: Music from ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, Sir William Walton: Music from ‘Henry V’ and String Quartet no 2 (1945-46).
